How we're different
Hurt & Co provides our Southern Maine community with highly skilled physical therapy, personal training, and wellness services, taking a full-body approach to improving your health.
Our physical therapists provide personalized, 1-on-1 care in private treatment rooms, performing evaluations and combining manual therapy and customized exercises to reduce pain and help you reach your goals. We offer orthopedic/sports physical therapy, as well as pelvic floor physical therapy, with a focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance.
To help you reach your strength and fitness goals, we offer personal training as well as a members-only gym we call the Barbell Club. We also collaborate with other wellness specialties, including massage therapy and pilates to keep you operating at your best.
We are on a mission to bridge the gap between rehabilitation, injury prevention, and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, and look forward to meeting you, soon!

No matter what I do to my body, Melinda fixes me and keeps me operating pain-free. Beyond being an amazing human, she is a fantastic physical therapist. She listens intently, takes thorough notes, and keeps close tabs on how I'm progressing. I always look forward to our sessions, and I love that they're an hour long and 1:1—not in a crowded room with lots of other patients.

I struggled with a variety of digestive and bladder issue. I love to travel, but needing frequent bathroom stops made it challenging. Jessica helped me strengthen my pelvic floor muscles, so now I have tools. And, I feel so much better!

Great gym with everything you’d need for powerlifting or general fitness. Plenty of squat racks and stands, benches, deadlfit platforms and calibrated plates with a handful of really cool machines. Have seen both Dr hurt and also Dr Jess for physical therapy as well and they have done a great job assessing my injuries and helping me get back to normal.

In addition to receiving excellent care from Melinda, I just started working out with the personal trainer at Hurt & Co, Morgan. I usually dread going to the gym, but Morgan made me feel comfortable right from the start. And after my workouts, I recover in the amazing infrared sauna! If I could give Hurt & Co 10 stars I would!
