I started my journey in the fitness world later in life, the first time I went to a gym, I was in my late 20’s. When I started down the fitness road, like many people, I did hours and hours of cardio and never lifted a dumbbell. I did all the trendy classes, I did spin and kickboxing, and all the yoga you can imagine. It wasn’t until years after I had my kids that I really shifted my own goals and started focusing on strength training and getting stronger.

I have been training and learning the skills of weight lifting for a few years now, training mostly as a powerlifter. Last year I committed to becoming a certified personal. I completed my NASM CPT certification in June of 2024, and began working with Melinda and her team shortly thereafter.

I enjoy working with people wherever they may be on their fitness journey.  If your goal is to lose weight, build muscle, learn new technique or find support and accountability, I am happy to develop a program that works for you regardless of your age or gym experience.  I truly enjoy working with women that have had kids and are looking for a positive environment to prioritize themselves.  As a working mom, I know how hard it can be to find that time, and how important it is for your physical and mental health.

I have spent the last 20 years in the restaurant industry. I have two children and as a family we love to go hiking, biking and recently learned how to ski! I also enjoy challenging myself in the gym, and seeing how I can really push myself to grow and get strong.
